You have implemented a large number of our machines. What aspects of their usability do you find most valuable?

What we appreciate most is the consistent operability across all machines. Muratec’s control panels are standardized across models and generations, so once an operator learns to use one machine, they can easily operate any other Muratec system.

This eliminates the need to relearn operations whenever equipment is updated, allowing us to assign personnel more flexibly and significantly reducing the workload on the shop floor.

Thank you very much. Have you observed any changes in your production environment since introducing our equipment?

We have seen a noticeable reduction in machine stoppages, along with improved capability for extended unattended operation, resulting in higher overall utilization rates.

Prior to installation, we frequently experienced minor stoppages caused by issues such as improper workpiece chucking during transfer, which limited the full benefits of automation. With Muratec’s equipment, the system verifies whether a workpiece is securely chucked—even during transfer—enabling stable, reliable automated production.
Additionally, if a stoppage occurs, simply pressing the “Program Reset” button returns the machine to its home position, enabling a quick, smooth restart.

What is your overall impression of our products?

My impression is that Muratec machines offer fast cycle times and high productivity.
Above all, the loader speed is exceptionally fast, which directly contributes to increased output.

We are also very impressed by Muratec’s commitment and technical capability to further shorten cycle times.
With the equipment introduced this time, you reduced the cycle time by nearly 30 seconds compared to our previous setup, and we are extremely satisfied with the results.

Could you share Shimano Seiki’s future outlook and the challenges you foresee?

We aim to bring our technical capabilities to an even broader range of industries. By creating more opportunities for customers to learn about our products—particularly through exhibitions and industry events—we hope to further strengthen our company's recognition as a trusted manufacturer.
