Could you tell us what led you to choose our equipment?

We simply couldn't meet the production volumes our customers demanded, so we were determined to improve productivity.
Furthermore, looking ahead, we recognized that labor‑ and space‑saving equipment would be essential, so we evaluated various manufacturers.
Among them, I recommended your company based on my experience using Muratec lathes at my previous job, where I personally witnessed their high productivity and reliability.

It's not just about price and delivery time, but whether the equipment can consistently deliver high quality and high productivity.

After implementing the Muratec lathe machine, how did it perform in actual operation?

While standard training is required to operate the machine, no special skills are needed, making it very easy to use.
Issues such as cycle time, tool life, and chuck marks can occur, but the Muratec team addresses each one with great care, which builds a strong sense of trust.
The loader’s movement is also extremely fast. For example, when we wanted to reduce the cycle time by two seconds, we were able to achieve it simply by adjusting the program. Doing this manually would be unrealistic — it truly demonstrates the machine’s capabilities.

Could you tell us about the actual results of the implementation?

We've seen clear results in both quality and productivity, but the space-saving effect has been particularly significant.
To achieve the same production volume with other machines, I believe we would need more than four times the floor space compared to Muratec’s equipment.
Being able to maintain high productivity within our limited space has been a tremendous advantage for us.
In addition, the machines are extremely robust, enabling reliable 24/7 operation with complete confidence.
Maintaining a 96% uptime rate under round‑the‑clock operation is truly remarkable, especially given how difficult continuous 24‑hour operation is with other equipment.

Finally, could you share your future outlook and the challenges you anticipate?

Globally, various costs and rents continue to rise, while quality and precision requirements are becoming increasingly stringent.
To maintain our competitiveness under these circumstances, we aim to further enhance our productivity going forward. By continuously pursuing productivity improvements, we also intend to strengthen our cost competitiveness even more.
