Could you tell us about any concerns or requirements you had before purchasing our machine?

Previously, we automated our machining process using equipment from multiple suppliers. The turning machine builder, robot supplier, and system integrator each had responsibility for different parts of the system.

As a result, when an unexpected production stoppage occurred, troubleshooting often required coordination through the system integrator. This not only increased recovery time but also raised support costs.
 

I see. What factors were most important when evaluating machine suppliers?

In addition to machine reliability and consistent production quality, we placed a strong emphasis on maintenance support and spare parts availability.

We also consider local support, including technical service and operator training, to be essential for reliable long-term operation.

What point actually convinced you to adopt Muratec?

The decisive factor was that the machine was configured as a single system, from the machines through to conveyance.
I felt that, rather than looking at individual pieces of equipment, the proposal addressed our required level of automation from a whole-system optimization perspective.
I had also heard from people at neighboring companies that they had installed a Muratec machine,
The fact that the point evaluation and word-of-mouth from actual users were very positive was another reason we decided to adopt it with confidence. 

How do you feel about the new tray feeder that was implemented as part of this project?

The tray feeder met our specialized production requirements accurately, and Muratec responded flexibly to additional requests during the pre-acceptance test.
We are very satisfied with both the equipment's performance and the Muratec team's responsiveness.

As a final question, could you tell us about your future plans and challenges?

We manufacture components that meet demanding requirements in both the automotive and aerospace industries.
One of our greatest strengths is the technical expertise we have developed through machining a wide variety of parts and specialized materials. Moving forward, we believe it will be increasingly important to pair that expertise with machines and technologies that help maximize its value.
Based on our experience with this project, we have found Muratec's machine to be highly reliable, capable of precise automated operation and stable, high-speed production.
